Martin has designed and created stained glass leaded light commissions and carried out glazing repair work on public

buildings such as churches, chapels, castles, public houses and schools in the Hampshire and Dorest area. He has also been

commissioned to provide stained glass panels for public award presentations at the Southampton Rosebowl and also for the

"B.B.C. Southern Ways" programme. Martins work includes windows, free hanging stained glass roundles and glass panels f

for public exhibition. He was also asked by Christchurch Borough Council to replicate part of a locally well known stained

glass window panel copying a given figure from the main Jesse window at Highcliffe Castle and to show and discribe all the

processes involved in making such a stained glass window. This completed exhibition panel can now be seen on permanent

display and forms part of the educational items in the Great Hall at Highcliffe Castle. The council have also asked Martin

for the third year running to be resident stained glass artist at Place Mill on Town Quay in Christchurch.

Martin fitting hand painted stained glass commemorative inscriptions to the traditional leaded arched shaped ecclesiastical window panels in Cloister Way Priory Church Christchurch, Dorset . Each roundle was sponsered by a member of the public to pay for the windows to be installed. There are 49 roundels in total contained within the seven windows depicting and celebrating in glass 900 years of the Priory Church.
